About Lisa Kirkland, M.A., LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting you through life's challenges with presence, gentleness, and deep respect.

Hi, I’m Lisa.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #144722), trained in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and deeply passionate about trauma-informed care. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a birth doula and midwifery apprentice. That experience continues to shape how I show up: with presence, gentleness, and deep respect for the human experience.

I specialize in supporting clients through perinatal challenges, trauma recovery, and life transitions using a blend of EMDR, mindfulness, parts-work, CBT, and somatic approaches. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better—it’s to help you feel more whole.

Outside of therapy, you might find me walking in nature, reading a book, or sharing a cup of coffee with a friend. I believe healing happens not just in conversation, but in how we live.
