Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Explore a profound path to healing for depression, anxiety, and PTSD in Redlands, CA.

KAP combines low-dose ketamine with guided psychotherapy for transformative insights.

When traditional talk therapy or medications haven't brought you the relief you are looking for, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) can offer a new doorway to healing. KAP combines the neuroplastic, mind-opening properties of low-dose ketamine with the grounding safety of guided psychotherapy. Many clients describe their KAP sessions as a deep exhale—a chance to step outside their usual thought patterns, safely explore their inner world, and reconnect with their true selves.

A Safe Container for Your Journey

I am clinically trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through the Transpersonal Research Institute of Psychotherapeutic Psychedelics (TRIPP). My approach to this work is trauma-informed and highly collaborative. You are the healer, the medicine is the catalyst, and I am your guide and anchor.

What Does the Process Look Like?
Ketamine is an FDA-approved medicine with powerful antidepressant properties. For those new to medicine-assisted therapy, the process might sound complicated, but we will take it one clear, intentional step at a time:

  1. Medical Clearance: You will first have a consultation with a trusted psychiatric provider to ensure ketamine is medically safe and appropriate for you.

  2. Preparation: We will meet for a preparation session to set intentions, discuss your goals, and ensure you feel completely comfortable.

  3. The Dosing Sessions: You will receive a prescription for sublingual ketamine lozenges, which you will bring to our session. You will self-administer the medicine in my office. For the next two hours, I will be right by your side to provide emotional support, grounding, and therapeutic care. (Please note: My role is strictly psychotherapeutic; I do not provide medical services.)

  4. Integration: After your journey, we will meet for an integration session to help you weave the insights and breakthroughs you experienced back into your everyday life.

If you’re curious about whether KAP might be the missing piece in your healing journey, I invite you to reach out. Contact me today to schedule a consultation and learn more about how we can integrate KAP into your care.

Investment & Cost Breakdown Because KAP involves both medical oversight and specialized psychotherapy, the costs are divided into two parts. Transparency is important to me, so here is what you can expect:
Therapy Services (Paid to this practice):
  • Preparation Session: $250
  • Medicine Dosing Session (2 hours): $400
  • Integration Session: $250
Medical Services (Paid directly to outside providers):
  • Initial Medical Evaluation: approx. $250 - $350 (Paid directly to the prescribing psychiatric provider)
  • Ketamine Medication: approx. $75 - $150 per prescription (Paid to the pharmacy for sublingual lozenges)
A Note on Insurance:
The psychotherapy portion may be eligible for out-of-network PPO reimbursement via superbills (medical receipts), but the cost of the ketamine medicine and specialized medical oversight are typically out-of-pocket.
